Nate Stanglein grew up working at Stanglein Veterinary Clinic as an assistant, and eventually, a technician, during his formative years. He went to Colby College in Waterville, ME, and, in 2004, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in classic English with a minor in chemistry. He received his VMD from the University of Pennsylvania in 2009.
Following graduation, Dr. Nate completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the MSPCA-Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston. He then spent two years working as an emergency veterinarian at a referral facility in Long Island, before returning to his roots at Stanglein Veterinary Clinic.
He is a member of both the American and Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Associations. He lives with his wife, Chrissie, and his sons, Ethan and Dylan, in Walnutport. An avid hockey fan, Dr. Nate can still be found playing hockey and watching the Flyers whenever possible.
A New Jersey native, Dr. Green graduated from Rutgers University in 2000 with a BA degree in mathematics and psychology. She worked as a veterinary technician in Maryland and moved to Pennsylvania to start veterinary school in 2003.
In 2007, she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She practiced in Harleysville and Springfield before joining the Stanglein Veterinary Clinic team in December of 2009.
She currently resides near Beltzville Lake. When not at work, she enjoys kayaking, hiking, practicing yoga, reading and watching horror movies.
Dr. Hoffman was raised in Northampton, PA. He has worked for Stanglein Veterinary Clinic since 2003 when he started as a veterinary assistant. In May of 2008, Dan graduated from Muhlenberg College with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He also minored in studio art.
He continued his education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, where he graduated in May 2012. In his free time, Dan enjoys reading, traveling, Phillies baseball games, spending time with friends, and of course, with his two cats, Pork and Beans.
After growing up in California and North Carolina, Dr. Suzanne DiNello-Schleicher moved to PA to attend Gettysburg College, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in chemistry and biology.
In 2014, she graduated with her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She moved to the Lehigh Valley after marrying her husband Chris in 2015.
Her hobbies include horseback riding, working in her vegetable garden, sewing and fixing up her house with her husband. She has a cat named Lord Vader, a geriatric German Shepherd mix named Ella, and several warmblood horses.
In the veterinary field, she enjoys emergency medicine, soft-tissue surgery and working with exotic small mammals.
Dr. Rothrock was born and raised in Bath, PA, and has worked at Stanglein Veterinary Clinic throughout college and veterinary school. She attended East Stroudsburg University and graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
She then moved to the beautiful island of Grenada, West Indies, to attend St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine. She finished her clinical year at University of Tennessee in Knoxville and graduated from St. George's with her DVM in 2020.
Dr. Rothrock remained in Knoxville following graduation to complete a year-long small animal medicine and surgery internship at the Animal Emergency and Specialty Center of Knoxville. Following her internship, she returned to Stanglein Veterinary Clinic, which was formerly owned by her grandfather, Dr. Clarence Rothrock.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, working out, traveling and going to concerts. She also enjoys spending time with her family's Labrador retriever, Bailey, and her Grenadian plothound, Skye.
Dr. Terry moved to the Lehigh Valley in the late 1960s to attend the Moravian College and stayed. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Moravian College in biology, a Master of Science degree from East Stroudsburg University, and his veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He has taught at two local colleges and has been in the veterinary field both as a technician and doctor since the 1970s.
He is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners, American Veterinary Medical Association, Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association, Lehigh Valley Veterinary Medical Association, and American Association of Small Ruminant Practitioners.
He graduated from veterinary school, with the support of family and friends, in 1983. This allowed him to pursue his lifelong dream of being a veterinarian. He credits his interactions with clients and patients for continuing to make this journey challenging and enjoyable.
